ESSENTIAL MESSAGES FOR MANKIND

"You must spread my messages all over the world"
(Message given by Our Lady of Medjugorje on February 25, 1995)
In Medjugorje Our Lady talks first of all of the problem of peace. She introduces herself saying: "I am the Queen of Peace" and asks for the Feast of Regina Pacis to be kept on the 25th of June.
Mary also declares that this kind of peace can only be attained through that other peace, which is in the hearts of men. Mary has, from the outset, made five important requests: peace, conversion, prayer, fasting and the use of the Sacraments. Then a sixth message began to make itself clear: the extraordinary maternal presence of Mary. The series of vital messages ends with the appeal for a return to faith in the after-life: Heaven, Hell, Purgatory, and a return to belief in the existence of the devil, a fallen angelic creature who tempts men to do evil.
First Message: PEACE "Peace, peace, peace and only peace". (June 25, 1981) "The world can only be saved through peace, but the world will only have peace if it finds God. God exists; tell everyone so. Peace, peace, peace; make peace amongst yourselves, become brothers."
Second Message: CONVERSION "You of the parish, be converted: this is my second wish. In so doing all those who come here will be able to do likewise". (March 8, 1984) "Tell all my sons and my daughters, tell all the world as soon as possible, that I wish for conversion; the only word I say to the world is: Be converted".
Third Message: PRAYER "Without prayer there is no peace. Therefore, dear children, I urge you to pray for peace before the Cross". (September 6, 1984) "Today I wish to make you this request: PRAY, PRAY, PRAY, PRAY! In prayer you will find the solution to every difficult situation. Thank you for the progress you are making in prayer! Each on of you is dear to my heart, and I thank all those who have encouraged prayer within their families". (March 28, 1985)
Fourth Message: FASTING "Every Friday fast on bread and water. Jesus Himself fasted". "Real fasting is the forsaking of all sins; give up television programs which are a great danger to families: after watching television you are no longer capable of praying. Give up alcohol, cigarettes and pleasures. Fasting and prayer can also prevent war".
Fifth Message: THE SACRAMENTAL LIFE "I particularly urge you to attend Mass daily". "Mass is the highest form of prayer. You must be reverent and humble during Mass and prepare yourselves carefully".
Our Lady recommends monthly Confession to everyone.

"Dear children, today I wish to tell you to pray before beginning or ending anything you do. If you do so, God will bless you and your work. In this period you are praying little, yet you are working a great deal. Therefore, pray! You will find comfort in prayer. Thank you for answering my call!"
Fast on Wednesdays and Fridays and recite the Rosary - August, Tuesday 14, 1984
"I should like the people in this period to pray with me. And to pray as much as possible! In addition I want them to fast on Wednesdays and Fridays, and recite the Rosary everyday: the Joyful, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries..."

"Dear children, today I am requesting you to read the Bible every day in your homes: put it where it is easily seen, so that you are always reminded to read it and to pray. Thank you for your response to my call!"

Arm yourselves with Sacred and Blessed objects - July, Thursday 18, 1985
"Dear children, today I urge you to place many sacred objects in your homes, and each one of you to wear a blessed object. Have all the objects blessed; in this way Satan will tempt you less, because you will have the necessary armor against him. Thank you for the response to my message!"

Prayer dissolves barriers between men - January, Thursday 23, 1986
"Dear children, I am once again urging you to pray with your hearts. Dear children, if you pray with your hearts, the ice will melt in your brothers and sisters, and all barriers will disappear. "Dear children, today I am requesting you to start reciting the Rosary with deep faith, so that I will be able to help you. You, dear children, wish to receive graces but you do not pray and I cannot help you if you do not want to make a move. "Dear children, hatred creates discord. It is blind to everyone and everything. I am asking you always to bring harmony and peace, especially within your homes and surroundings. Commit yourselves to love. Always make love your only approach, and with love you will convert into good everything that Satan wants to destroy and possess. "Dear children, my request for you to live the messages I give you is a daily one. In particular, dear children, I would like to draw you closer to the Heart of Jesus. Therefore, little children, choose God completely and do not allow Satan to enter into your lives through those things which damage you and your spiritual lives.
